Window tinting in Laval, plus vinyl wraps & paint protection film

Window tint is our specialty.

It’s the service KAMO was built on and the one we do most, every single day.

  • Tekton Performance Films

A Canadian brand made for professional installers: heat rejection, clarity, colour that won’t fade, and over 99% of UV blocked.

  • Plotter-cut for your exact car

Every pattern is computer-cut for the make, model and year, so edges are clean and there is no blade on your glass.

  • Legal up front, dark in the back

We help you pick a front shade that respects Quebec’s 70% rule and go as dark as you like behind the driver.

Six ways to make your vehicle look sharper. No noise. Just the work.

Window tinting

Every tint is plotter-cut for your vehicle’s exact make, model and year: a clean fit with no gaps and no lifting edges. We install Tekton Performance Films, chosen for heat rejection, clarity and colour stability, and we match the shade to your car and to Quebec’s rules.

Vinyl wraps

We only work with the top two brands: 3M and Avery Dennison. Gloss, satin, matte or colour-shift, as a full colour change or accents on the roof, hood and mirrors, installed to look intentional, not stuck on. Removable without harming your paint.

Paint protection film

Clear, nearly invisible film on the areas that take the hits (front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors) or the whole car. Stone chips, bug etching and swirl marks stop at the film, not at your paint.

Smoked headlight & taillight PPF

Smoked film for headlights and taillights, for a clean OEM-plus look. No cheap bluish or purplish tint, just a refined grey smoke that also shields the lens from chips and road debris.

Chrome delete

Lose the bright trim. Window surrounds, grille, badges, roof rails and handles blacked out in gloss or satin for one cohesive look. No paint, fully reversible.

Questions we get every week

Is window tint legal in Quebec?

Yes, within limits. Under Quebec’s Highway Safety Code, the windshield and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through; a band up to 15 cm is allowed at the top of the windshield. Rear side windows and the rear window can be as dark as you like. Factory front glass already blocks some light, so even a light film can push the front windows under 70%, so we measure and advise before anything goes on.

What films and materials do you use?

Window tint: Tekton Performance Films, a Canadian brand made for professional installers, with over 99% UV blocking across the range. Wraps and chrome delete: 3M and Avery Dennison only, the two top names in vinyl. We don’t install bargain film, because the result has to last.

How long does tinting take, and when can I roll the windows down?

Most vehicles take two to four hours. Keep the windows up for three to five days while the film cures; a little haze or a few small water pockets are normal and disappear as it dries.

How much does window tinting cost in Laval?

It depends on the vehicle and the film. Send your make, model and year through the quote form and you’ll get a clear price with no surprise fees.

Can a wrap or chrome delete be removed later?

Yes. 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl is designed to come off cleanly without harming factory paint, so you can change colours or go back to stock when it’s time to sell.

Where are you, and do you serve Montréal?

We’re at 3260 Francis-Hughes in Laval (H7L 5A7), open 7/7 from 9 to 6, about 20 minutes from downtown Montréal via Autoroute 15 or 19. Customers come from the whole island, the North Shore and the South Shore.
